  • Facilitating the review and update of risk appetite statements and ensuring regular reporting against key metrics.

  • Managing the maintenance and review of Group policies to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.

  • Leading Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to ensure an accurate understanding of the risk landscape.

  • Developing effective processes for capturing and reporting risk events, analysing root causes, and identifying trends.

  • Tracking issues and actions, ensuring timely resolution and accountability across functions.

  • Producing regular risk reports to support ongoing leadership engagement and decision-making.

  • Providing expert risk management support for functional initiatives and transformation projects.

  • Identifying and managing emerging and horizon risks that could impact Group operations.

  • Coaching and mentoring first-line colleagues to build strong risk awareness and management capability.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management, covering identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

  • Strong background in managing risks within corporate functions such as Finance, HR, or Legal.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders to embed risk management practices.

  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays

  • Company pension & life assurance

  • Remote working

  • Wellbeing and colleague discount programmes

  • Professional development opportunities

If you’re a confident communicator with a passion for embedding effective risk management and driving continuous improvement – we’d love to hear from you.
