Product Desk Consultant – Hybrid Solihull

 

PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest dedicated Mortgage & Protection Network in the UK with some 3000 advisors and circa 1000 AR partner firms nationally. PRIMIS form part of the LSL Property Services plc group.

 

We are recruiting for a new colleague to join our Product Desk Team (ask the experts). The team are an integral part of our relationships with our broker partners nationally.

 

To provide customer service excellence and product support (Mortgage and Protection).

 

The role is a hybrid role with circa 50/50 split of working from home / Solihull office (Birmingham Business Park). Initially the role will be fully office based.

 

The role is Full Time

 

Main Accountabilities:

 

  • To provide exceptional customer service to brokers and the wider business to drive growth.
  • To provide hands on support to brokers through inbound and outbound telephone contact as well as via other contact channels, such as email, social media, live chat etc
  • To provide expertise on the entire product range and provide exceptional support to brokers as well as assisting in the promotion of lender/provider launches.
  • Work with lender and provider contacts to ensure up to date product knowledge on all panel offerings, which in turn supports brokers. Attending industry events and Primis product events.
  • Work with the Product Team Manager and internal teams to ensure the correct maintenance of products and sourcing systems, enabling brokers to transact business efficiently.
  • Support the product line managers with MI and reporting expertise.
  • Maintain broker facing product and proposition material to support broker expertise and knowledge.

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required for the role:

 

  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong IT skills and be able to adapt to new systems quickly
  • Experience of working in a telephone-based role
  • Relationship building and strong communication skills
  • Experience within a financial services environment- preferred but not essential as is the CeMAP qualification

 

Salary is between £24,500 and £28,000 per annum DOE and negotiable
