This is the ideal opportunity to take your first step into training and begin your career in the Learning and Development Team as L&D Technical Trainer

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this role focuses on delivering and facilitating the Trainee Associate Surveyor Programme and supporting the Technical Partners in sharing your insights and drive continuous improvement from the front line.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Solely deliver and facilitate the AssocRICS Trainee/Graduate and SAVA programmes, ensuring alignment with RICS standards and the defined curriculum
  • Manage the end-to-end trainee journey, from onboarding to successful AssocRICS accreditation.
  • Deliver engaging and effective technical training sessions, with a focus on surveying, building pathology, and associated legislation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of training programmes, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Share insights with the L&D Technical Partners who will develop and implement enhancements to meet the evolving needs of trainees and the business.
  • Contribute to managing the growing demand for technical training, ensuring the department can meet increased business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the L&D Manager and team to align technical training initiatives with broader organisational goals.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
  • Technical knowledge of Building Pathology, associated legislation and other relevant construction standards and regulation
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging, interactive sessions and adapt to the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of L&D principles and the ability to deliver learning in a structured and supportive way.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging participants, providing clear instructions, and managing group dynamics
  • Track training participation and feedback data, contributing to reports that evaluate training impact and engagement.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word and Excel to develop materials, manage content, and produce reports.
