We are currently recruiting for a Data Governance Lead here at e.surv Chartered Surveyors.
To lead and execute Data Governance activities with e.surv.
Take ownership of developing a Data Governance and Data Management programme throughout the business.
Provide leadership and direction for all data governance activities with a focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework.
Establish Data Management and Governance programmes and drive data ownership into the business.
Perform Data Management, Governance Reviews and Data Maturity assessments.
Develop, lead and implement plans that will roll out the Data Management and Governance Programme within e.surv.
Perform gap analysis to determine initiatives and build out road maps to address identified gaps.
Assist with data architecture reviews and advise on data solutions that relate to Data Governance Programmes (Data Dictionaries, Data Quality, metadata management, master data management and lineage).
Establish a central design authority for governing data. This will include creating the relevant steering and working groups with the appropriate representation across the business.
Take ownership of third party data licence agreements and putting in place reviews to ensure compliance with contractual arrangements.
Knowledge and Experience
5+ years of experience in and understanding of concepts and frameworks pertaining to Data Management- Data Governance, Data Policy, Data Lineage, Data Models, Data Quality, Data Risk and Control Frameworks, Data Literacy, Reference Data Management, Metadata Management
Strong leadership experience within data management and governance. For example, you may have previously held a position as a business owner for Data management and governance at a large organization or supported the development and implementation of best practice.
