We're part of the LSL Property Services PLC Group, which includes household names Your Move and Reeds Rains, as well as the mortgage network PRIMIS. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers.


We now have an opportunity to join the IT Operations Team as an IT Administrator (Asset and procurement).


Reporting into Lee Hickman (Head of IT Operations) responsibilities will include:

IT Asset Management:


To provide the oversight and guidance in developing, implementing and operating the asset management lifecycle process for the IT estate.  It is key that all IT assets (hardware, software, telecoms) are understood, managed and kept up to date by all IT members, including the upkeep of the necessary stock of IT items. 


  • To ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware, trained and adhere to the relevant parts of the asset management process
  • To be a key part of the team that maintains the CMDB including the maintenance of the Finance Asset Register
  • To work with the IT managers to agree necessary IT stock controls and then make sure procedures are implemented to maintain necessary stock levels
  • To ensure that all relevant equipment is Asset tagged.
  • To make sure that all relevant IT assets are adequately destroyed including the deletion of all data held on the assets
  • Manage software licences to ensure that the optimal number are acquired, retained and deployed in relation to required business usage, and the software installed is in compliance with licence agreements.
  • Maintain a full list of all 3rd party maintenance and support contracts including renewal dates, ensuring cancellations dates are reviewed well in advance


IT Procurement:


To administer all procurement for IT, ensuring that all transactions adhere to the governance of the IT procurement process.  This includes working within the delegated authority rules and checking that all transactions have the necessary approvals.  Building and maintaining good relationships with IT vendors is an important part of the role.


  • To work within the rules of the IT procurement process
  • To administer the end to end procurement of equipment and defined miscellaneous equipment
  • To ensure that the delegated financial authority rules are adhered to and the right level of approval is attained for each transaction
