Job Profile

A new opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant within the Estate Agency Division Finance Team of LSL Property Services plc. Primarily supporting our Your Move & Reeds Rains businesses this role is based in our Head Office on Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.

 

The role will be working within a large and busy team and key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Prepare financial information and MI in accordance with Group policies and procedures within agreed time-scales.
  • Finance processes to be operated within agreed parameters
  • To carry out ad-hoc project work and reports
  • Provide administration functions to the purchase ledger team
  • Produce payment runs within approved guidelines and timescales
  • Prepare and post journal transactions for the monthly management accounts including prepayments and accruals
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and manage control account balances 


The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who is also self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. They will have previous experience within a Finance team along with good IT skills including strong working knowledge of MS Excel. You will ideally be AAT qualified or working towards an Accountancy professional qualification.
