    Apprentice - Fees and Payments

     

    We are looking to recruit a “Fees and Payments - Apprentice” within our busy Commissions team based in our offices on The Birmingham Business Park, B37 7YT.

     

    Part of LSL Property Services plc, Primis Mortgage Network / TMA are an Appointed Representative Network within the Financial Service sector (Mortgage and Protection).

     

    This role is within a fast paced and deadline driven environment so the successful candidate must be organised and efficient with a high standard of attention to detail. You will be able to work to tight deadlines, meet targets and have the ability to work methodically and accurately on multiple administrative tasks. You will be a strong team player with the ability to also work using your own initiative.

     

    Role Purpose:

    To facilitate payment to The Mortgage Alliance (TMA) Directly Authorised members, whilst reconciling payments received from all Lenders and Product Providers on The Mortgage Alliance panel.  Apply relevant charges to all Firms in line with the TMA contract and provide world class support to all firms on all financial aspects.

     

    This is an excellent opportunity providing the successful candidate with a training opportunity and a Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification (level2). 

      

    Key Responsibilities:

    Format and process electronic Commission Statements

    Complete paper Commission statements into an electronic format

    Write and maintain up to date procedures

    Communicate with advisers, both via phone and e-mail, regarding all aspects of their payments and any commission queries

    Communicate with Accounts Department to ensure payments received and paid can be reconciled

    Liaise with other departments within TMA / Primis to ensure quality service is provided to advisers

    Liaise with Lenders and Providers to build relationships and maintain/improve MI quality for speed and efficiency of payments

    Contribute towards the development, maintenance and testing of any new systems and processes as appropriate

    Any other duties as determined by the Commissions Manager.

    Qualifications:
    Level C or Above in English/Maths

    Additional Information:
    Working Hours – Monday to Friday 9 – 5
    Salary- £3.90 per hour
