    LSL Property Services Plc is a leading provider of Property Services within the UK. We have a number of Financial Service business' that are Appointed Representative Networks within the sector, namely PRIMS, Personal Touch and The Mortgage Alliance (TMA) amongst others.  Based within our newly opened Solihull offices we are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Credit Controller on a permanent, full time basis.

    The prime objective of this role is to provide an effective service in the management of debts owed to the FS group companies and to support the Senior Credit Controller where required.

     

    The successful candidate will ensure written and telephone-based collection activities are completed effectively to manage outstanding debts. They will manage aged debt cases to a successful conclusion by liaison with Appointed Representatives and former Appointed Representatives to arrange recovery or to put in place repayment plans. You will also work with the Senior Credit Controller to produce and analyse reports in line with the departmental procedures and, as required, by the business in order to identify all debt issues and to monitor the progress of reducing the debt owed to the business.

    The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have the ability to work and deliver within an acceptable timescale. You will have excellent attention to detail and have the ability work using your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.

     

    It is essential that you have excellent MS Excel skills with the ability to work between databases; you will have strong analytical and pro-active skills, working logically and systematically. You will be confident in analysis and interpretation of documentation and data and have the ability to work well and under pressure whilst remaining effective.

     

    It would be beneficial if you had knowledge of the credit control processes and practises and an understanding of Financial Services and its regulatory environment along with an understanding of the requirements of anti-money laundering and data security and confidentiality.
