    Product Manager - Survey and Valuation

     

     

    e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK’s largest and leading provider of residential property risk, survey and valuation services.

    In 2016, we undertook the most ambitious IT overhaul in our history, working with Solihull-based property risk software specialists, eTech. It's part of our commitment to investing in technology designed to generate process efficiencies for our clients and customers, together with improved work/life balance for our surveyors. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities, and estate agents, as well as private customers.

     

     

    The Role:

     

    Due to extensive growth, we are now seeking a Product Manager within our Risk and Governance team, with the intention to drive product strategy through the development and successful delivery of new products and product enhancements. 

     

    Reporting to the Risk and Governance Director, the Product Manager will work collaborattively with internal stakeholders to:

    • Develop a strategic roadmap.
    • Analyse industry and competitor trends.
    • Identify new product, or product enhancement opportunities.
    • Oversight and evaluation of potential and existing partnerships.
    • Identify and support business opportunities.

     

    Accountabilities:

    • Establish a Product Governance process.
    • Lead the assessment of product related issues, challenges, feedback and manage the assessment and prioritisation of roadmap developments.
    • Project managing new product initiatives including product launches, proofs of concept, client pilots.
    • Develop product roadmaps and help oversee delivery against the roadmaps.
    • Oversee product release schedules, co-ordinating eTech, IT, Operations, business analysts and test teams to ensure commitments are delivered.
    • Provide input and help develop business requirements for new product and/or enhancements.
    • Work closely with eTech, business analysists and IT to ensure business requirements are translated into product deliverables.
    • Active involvement in Communications and Operations to help successful product launches,

     

     

    The Person:

     

    You will have experience and an understanding of Product development, including business process analysis, software development and release management processes.     

     

    • A capable and effective decision maker.
    • Effective communicator at all levels including ability to engage directly with stakeholders, understand and interpret their evolving needs, and effectively present product offerings and innovations.
    • Capable of working autonomously.
    • Demonstrate strong logical thinking and judgment, to drive clarity between opinion and evidence-based views and strong documentation / presentation capabilities
    • The capability to run processes at pace across complex organisations to build and develop business cases.
    • The ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, bringing efficiency and focus to drive these projects / phases of work to conclusion.
    • Demonstrate strong workshop facilitation skills.

     

    Some national travel will be required, although the role is expected to work from our Kettering head office.
