    Frost’s Estate Agency are currently looking for experienced Sales Negotiators with a minimum of 12 months Estate Agency experience to be based either in St Albans or Marshalswick in Hertfordshire. 


    The Sales Negotiator will be a flexible and fully integrated member of the sales team located in a branch providing a customer focused service, maintaining company standards and achieving targets in the streams of market appraisals/valuations, sign ups and conveyancing referrals.  Ensuring compliance with brand standards and current legislation in line with the organisations service level agreements.

    Key responsibilities within the role will be to:

    • Identify and properly register potential buyers and sellers, secure maximum quality viewings, valuations, instructions, financial services appointments, conveyancing quotes/instructions
    • Follow up viewings and secure offers
    • Attend valuations as and when required
    • Understand and demonstrate the importance of re-qualifying applicants
    • Undertake negotiations on behalf of the seller, giving prompt reports on progress and achieving successful sales
    • Agree and achieve individual sales performance targets including residential sales, conveyancing, financial services and any other identified income stream
    • Adhere to company best practice at all times
    • Maintain financial services tracking
    • Comply with all relevant legislation as it affects the residential sales operation
    • Develop and maintain excellent staff relationships with internal colleagues and external and customers
    • Present a professional approach at all times and maintain brand standards
    • Monitor and evaluate the number of house sales, number of viewings and number of inspections against targets
    • Achieve the required number of Financial Service appointments/sign ups
    • Undertake canvassing of local properties, when required
    • Undertake accompanied viewings as and when required
    • Achieve conveyancing referrals
    • Understand and undertake sales progression duties and give regular updates to clients and buyers
    • Can deal with withdrawals and tries to save the instructions through negotiation and managing clients expectations

    The individual should have/possess:

    • Minimum of 12 months Estate Agency experience
    • Trained in the valuation process (preferred)
    • Full knowledge of relevant legislation affecting the operation of residential sales
    • Good negotiation and influence skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner
    • Ability to manage own time effectively
    • Ability to manage multiple projects
    • Ability to work to defined policies and procedures
    • Working knowledge of Windows based applications
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a varied audience
    • A valid UK driving licence
    • Excellent personal presentation and conduct
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Power Point
